Gaster's curiosity was piqued. "What to, if I may ask?"

"True Gaster. I guess I need a middle name now, is all," True smiled shyly.

(Awwww! So cute! :'D Going to run errands now. See you later!)

Gaster smiled warmly and happily. "I would feel honored if you did that." He said truthfully.

True nodded a little abashedly then asked, "Got any ideas for a middle name?"

Gaster thought for several moments. "Well, I suppose it depends. Do you want it to represent something, or just a name that sounds okay?"

True shrugged. "I don't know. I guess if I was born with it, I wouldn't really have a say in the matter, so whatever you think is right, Doctor Dad."

Gaster smiled and thought. "If you wanted to go a fantastical route, Phoenix would be cool. The bird that comes back from the ashes." He suggested.

He thought about this. "True Pheonix Gaster.... I like it. Pheonix is perfect." Releasing the break, he started to roll toward the kitchen. "Better than my old name, anyway."

(Which isn't the sign up, but oh well.)

Gaster tilted his head. "If you don't mind me being nosy and curious, what was your old name?

True glanced over his shoulder at him. "Icarus Magellan Proditor. Dinner should be done by now if you want to tell the boys." He headed in and opened the oven. "Yep! Chicken's done!" he yelled, pulling it out and setting it on the counter then the corn and began unwrapping them.

Gaster froze when he heard the name Proditor, and instantly tensed up. He tried to shrug it off as The boys came up and got ready, but True would be able to instantly tell that the good doctor recognized the name "Proditor," and it didn't have a good association with him.

True was busy with getting the food on the table and having the boys set the table since he couldn't reach the plates. Each place got a piece of chicken, corn, onion rings, and potatoe chuncks. "I hope you like it!" He paused, glancing at Gaster. "Um... Everything okay?" The last thing he'd said was... Oh. His name. He hadn't thought his father and the Doc ran in the same circles. They couldn't have, right? No way the Doc would associate with someone like his dad!

The boys happily helped. Only Sam seemed to realize that his dad was hiding the fact he was tense though. Gaster nodded as he sat down at the table. "Yes, I am fine. I, ah, used to know a man with the same last name of Proditor. Probably just coincidence you share a name with him. You're nothing alike."

"Oh... Okay," True said, choosing to let it go and moved on. "What do you think? Did I do alright?"

The boys both said it was great. Gaster took a bite and nodded. "This is indeed very good."

True grinned happily and started eating. He chatted with the boys, questioning Sam about the robots and quizzing Paul about school. Normally he wasn't big on being social, having trust issues, but these two were different. Not to mention, it was hard not to trust sweet little Paul.

Both boys happily conversed with True, clearly liking and trusting him. Gaster, however, was oddly quiet this dinner, and seemed distracted.

True noticed that Gaster seemed out of it, so he just did his best to work around him, enlisting the boys to help him clean up and do the dishes.

The boys happily helped True. Gaster excused himself after dinner and went upstairs to his study. He pulled out a couple books he kept articles and notes in, opening one to about five years ago, and anything on Proditor, making notes on the man and what he could recollect and wrote down on his son, who Gaster rediscovered was named.... Icarus.

True made sure the boys were set and good for the night before saying his goodbyes and heading home for the night. He couldn't stop whistling, genuinely happy for the first time in long time.

Again, there were some shady characters that lurked in the shadows, watching and waiting. For what, no one knew.... yet.

Late at night, Gaster still felt unsettled. His mind was jumbled and his insomnia said he was to get no sleep that night. He ran his hands through his hair with a sigh. True was not Proditor. He had been around True long enough to know that. However, his mind was still raked with worry. What would happen down the road? Gaster shook his head and grabbed his jacket to go for a walk. No use in worrying that far into the future. He needed to focus on the present, and the immediate future. Yes, a walk should do well to clear his head. He locked the door behind him, only planning on walking up to a few blocks away before returning home to his boys.

Shuni stood hunched in the shadows, trembling as he sucked on his already red and raw knuckle. His eyes continuously darted to his companion, waiting to be told what to do. He didn't like it out here, and he was so tired! He just wanted to sleep, but he couldn't. Not yet. Sir said he could sleep once he was done here. That thought made him happy. Finish here then go home to the kitties. He could do this. His golden eyes tracked the man then he glanced up at Sir again.

Proditor set his steely gaze on his quarry. Dr. Gaster... oh, how much fun it would be to break him. Without looking at his pawn, he said two simple words in his low voice. "Do it."

Shuni took his finger from his mouth and moved forward. Scurrying forward, he called out pleadingly, "Sir? Please, sir! Can you help me, please?"

Gaster, the kind hearted man he was, didn't even think twice. "Yes, of course. What's the matter?"
