DT Serum, Primary Testing In Progress

True reached out and caught her hand. "Please do, and please call me. Any time." He let go and backed up, saluting her. "I will see you another night, Mistress DJ!"

Kat smiled and saluted True back as she told him bye. She drank her can of pop and thought for a while before Kat decided to brush her hair and take a shower.

True headed not home, but toward the lab instead. He wanted to talk to Ally for a bit.

The receptionist welcomed True as he entered. Ally was in her office, watching subbed anime on her computer while eating a bag of chips.

True knocked softly on Ally's doorframe, trying not to scare her. "Ally? Hey... Can I talk to you for a minute?"

Ally jumped and paused her anime. "Y-yeah. Wh-what's on y-your mind, Tr-True?"

True rolled in and folded his arms on her desk, resting his chin on his arms. "If I asked you out on a date, just in theory, why would you tell me no?"

Ally's face got really red, and she started to stutter a lot. In essence, she said she would say no because she wasn't into True like that, even though she did like him a lot as a friend.

(I won't make me want to kill myself for typing out all the times she would stutter and ramble there ;-; )

"That's the only reason?" True pressed. "I understand that, and I wouldn't want it another way, but there's no giant sign stamped on me that says, 'undateable?'"

"N-no." Ally said, adjusting her glasses. "Y-you're a really g-great guy, Tr-True. Th-the only th-thing I can th-think of w-would be if s-someone w-was against dating s-someone wh-who was, y'know, i-in a wh-wheelchair? B-but they w-would j-just b-be shallow i-if that w-were th-the case."

True smiled. "Thanks, Ally. It's just the last two girls I asked acted like it was the dumbest question iin the world, And another one laughed herself into an asthma attack. There's this girl I'd like to ask, but she way outclasses me. Or maybe we should just start out as friends and see what happens? Ugh.". He let his head thump down between his arms. "Maybe I should give it up altogether."

Ally placed a hand on his shoulder. "D-don't g-give up. G-get t-to know h-her f-first, and th-then s-see wh-where it g-goes."

True turned his head enough to look up at Ally. "You think there's hope of at least friendship?"

Ally smiled. "O-of c-course." The shy doctor had confidence in True, and it was clear.

True smiled and sat up. "Thanks, Ally. You really are the best."

Ally's face got a bit red at that. "I-I d-don't kn-know about th-that." She adjusted her glasses on her nose again.

True just snorted and patted her shoulder. "Don't fight it. You just are. Thanks for letting me bug you. I should get back home now."

Ally smiled and waved bye. "H-have a g-good d-day. H-hope I-I h-helped s-some."

"You did, thanks!" True called back, returning the wave before wheeling off. He paused to say hi/bye to the receptionist then headed home.

When True got home, Gaster had started to load boxes to be moved into a UHaul van. He set his box in the van and smiled at True. "Welcome back!"

"Wow, that was fast," True said, looking at all the work they'd completed. "How long was I gone?"

"A couple of hours. We just started to load in the boxes." Gaster said. "The boys are still packing some, but I saw no point in navigating around all the boxes cluttering our downstairs."

"Fair point," True agreed with a faint smile. "What do you need me to pack next? Figuring kitchen and bathroom should be last?"

Gaster nodded. "I think so too. Is there anything you need packed in here for now?"

"Most of my stuff is at the lab except for a few essential stuff," True said.
