DT Serum, Primary Testing In Progress

Gaster was in the kitchen. He had started to put kitchenware away into their proper drawers.

True wheeled into the kitchen. "Dad? What do guys my age... Have?"

(Back in 40min)

Gaster's brow creased in confusion. "What do you mean by that?"

(Okey dokey)

True shrugged, waving a hand. "Do they put stuff on the walls? Trophies? Knick nacks? What? I've never really had anything of mine that I couldn't pick up and carry at a moment's notice."

Gaster nodded slowly. He understood better now. "Well, I don't know. It kind of varies on what you like. I remember my walls had a bunch of physics posters and one with Albert Einstein sticking his tongue out. Perhaps some posters of music artists you like? Or even music decals?"

"Why would Albert Einstein stick out his tongue?" True asked, momentarily distracted. "Oh, music stuff... Huh. I guess I could do that. Tom Petty, Hank Williams, Adrian von Ziegler. I could manage. Thanks! Oh, could I borrow your laptop tonight? I'll give it back."

Gaster nodded. He went to one of his boxes and unpacked it, the mouse, and the charge cord. "There you are."

"Thanks, Dad," True grinned, balancing everything on his lap. "I appreciate it." He carted it to his room and set it up before going back and helping unpack things. This place was great!

Sam was taking boxes labeled "bot" to the attached two car garage. Paul and Gaster got Paul's desk and bookshelf in his room, and Paul started to unpack his things.

True focused on the boring things like the kitchen and the living room and the other things. He didn't mind, enjoying feeling useful.

After a little while, Gaster announced that they should head home because it was a school day tomorrow for Paul.

True glanced at him, disappointed. "We aren't here to stay? I thought we were here."

"All but the beds were moved." Gaster said. "I normally would recommend sleeping on the floor, but I want Paul to be rested for tomorrow."

"Alright," True agreed, not arguing. "You boys ready?"

Sam and Paul nodded. Gaster made sure the lights were off before he walked home with everyone. "True, if you want, we can go get you some things right after we drop off Sam and Paul."

(Me thinks it's bedtime for fuzzy little me. Nighty night!)

True hesitated, thinking, then shook his head. "No, it's okay. I need to get a job before I can buy some stuff."

(Was about to tell you same thing)

"I am still getting you a bed though." Gaster said. "So you can either help me find one you will actually like, or be at my mercy for picking for you."

"Oh, well, in that case, I guess I'd better go with you!" True grinned. "Can't have you picking out a pink princess bed, can I?"

Gaster chuckled. "Now there's an idea..." He gathered up Sam and Paul. "Since the couch is here, I suppose you could be the first to sleep here if you wanted, or at the lab tonight. Our beds are still at the other house."

"I'll sleep in my chair. The first night in the new house should be all of us together," True smiled, following his dad. "Besides, it'd be creepy staying in such a big house by myself."

Gaster smiled. "If you insist. I have an extra pillow on my bed if you would want that, or you could grab one from here and a blanket."

True shook his head. "I'm fine, really, Dad. Thanks, though. Paul, you wanna ride?"

Paul smiled and nodded. She crawled on True's lap happily. He loved being with his brother, and thought this was one of the coolest things ever.

True hugged Paul briefly then started wheeling himself along, whistling softly. It was a melancholy song, thinking of th past, but not sad, just moving on to the future and bidding farewell.

Paul had fun. He pretended that he and True were on a space ship, and were heading to a new planet.
