Dragon Rider Play

(Isn't it with Tim Allen and the guy who plays Severus Snape in that one space movie thing? XD "Never give up, never surrender"? I forget the actual movie's name...)

"53 said he was fine, and it may actually do Tithenor some good just getting out of the ward." Jeremiah smiled. "He just wants to go along to the springs and back to make sure Tithenor gets places safely."

(GALAXY QUEST!!)

Pat actually clapped her hands softly in delight.  "Now all you have to do is pry the recipe from Tithenor and make the stuff."

(That's it XD I only saw it once, but I remember really liking the movie.)

Jeremiah smiled. "Or just use what Tithenor gave me from the last time." He said.

(It is hilarious!  RIP, Alan Rickman )

"You have some?" Pat said in surprise.  "You haven't used it yet?"

(Starts singing Titanic theme in his fond memory)

Jeremiah shook his head. "I've been saving it for an occasion. I think this would qualify as an occasion to use it."

(What?)

"I guess it would," she agreed.  "Come on, we should get to class and get Luke started.  He's got a lot of catching up to do."

Jeremiah smiled. "Yup. Come on, Luke! You're gonna love your professors!"

Luke looked up. "Okay. Can we visit Tie.... Tith-ar-or again?" He asked. He tried to say Tithenor's name right.

(Oh, that one.)

"You may call me Blue," Tithenor told him.  It was painful to hear the boy say his given name.

Pat took Tithenor's dishes and took off running for the kitchens.  First to drop off the dishes, then to get Nightshade!

Luke nodded. "Okay, Blue. I'll try to learn your actual name though if you want."

Jeremiah stayed behind to lead Luke to the arena island, but first he stopped by the rookery so they could get their dragons.

Melloraumo purred and snuggled next to Tithenor happily.

"I think you enjoy this more than I do," Tithenor mused, ruffling Mellon's frills.

Pat met them at the rookery, getting there just after they did.

Erika was in a fight with Warrior.  Well, she was trying to fight him.  Warrior was teasing her and staying just out of reach.  That made her all the madder.

Jeremiah quickly explained what was going on to Luke. Luke frowned. "Warrior, stop that. That isn't nice, especially if she's suppose to be your friend." He scolded his dragon.

Jeremiah picked Erika up and tried to calm her down.

Nightshade churred and bounded over to Pat, rubbing against her legs much like a cat.

Warrior stopped short, confused. He was just playing. Why wasn't bad?

Erika hissed, her spines out in agitation. She wasn't relaxing against Jeremiah as usual, instead remaining stiff and unhuggable.

"Hello, beautiful. What's going on?" Pat asked Nightshade as she crouched to pet her.

"It's not playing if the other person or dragon isn't having fun." Luke explained with a frown. "Erika isn't having fun."

Jeremiah still stubbornly tried anyway.

Nightshade purred affectionately. She was looking forward to spending time with Pat!

(I had a plan for this, but I totally forgot what it was [hence the cease post yesterday] so now time to salvage the scene!)

Warrior whined and dropped his head.  Oh.  He hadn't meant to be mean.

Erika gradually subsided, more worried about hurting Jeremiah than her pride. Her spines folded back meekly, but her body still trembled with growling.

Pat laughed and wrapped her arms around Nightshade.  "Let's go show everyone how awesome you are!"

(Lol I hate it when that happens XD)

"Now apologize to Erika." Luke told his dragon.

Jeremiah sighed and stroked Erika. His dragon was as stubborn as he could be. It was comforting and frustrating at the same time.

Nightshade croon and snuggled up in Pat's embrace. She licked her rider's cheek affectionately/

Warrior slunk over toward Jeremiah and lifted his head, whining softly.  He was sorry.
Erika studied him a moment then flicked his muzzle hard with her tail, causing him to yelp, though it was more from surprise than pain.  Okay.  They were even now.

"Are you two done yet?" Pat asked Jeremiah and Luke, holding Nightshade close and enjoying the cuddles.

Jeremiah rolled his eyes, but Luke smiled. "There. Now we can go to class!"

Nightshade just loved being close to Pat.

Warrior cheered and bounded to the door.  Play time and work time!  In his mind, those two things tended to blend together.

Erika huffed but nuzzled Jeremiah.  She was ready to be put down and go to work.

Jeremiah set Erika back on the ground and led Luke on where to go first.

Nightshade was content on being carried as long as Pat wanted to.

Warrior pranced ahead like a show pony, showing off for his new rider.  See what he could do??

Erika walked along primly.  Show off male!

Pat brought up the rear, carrying Nightshade willingly, but she wouldn't be able to much longer.

Luke laughed as he watched Warrior. "Very showy." He started to give Warrior pointers on how to waltz like a show dragon as he walked.

Nightshade purred. That was okay. When Nightshade was big enough, she would just carry Pat!

"Don't encourage him!" Pat laughed to Luke as Warrior waltzed along.  She kissed Nightshade's nose, thanking her.

Luke grinned. "If he wants to prance, let him prance I say!"

Nightshade purred and nuzzled Pat affectionately. She would always love her rider and look after Pat.

Pat shook her head but let it go.  Very well, let him prance into a bunch of teasing dragons.  She smiled and raised a hand in greeting when she saw Alistair's group.  Eric grinned and waved in return, the others  little more conservative in their greetings.

Jeremiah nodded a friendly greeting. He had expressed his apologies for wrongly convicting Alistair several times now.

Luke smiled. "Oh hello! I'm Luke! I'm Warrior's new rider! What're your names?" He asked Alistair's group.
