DT Serum, Primary Testing In Progress

"Well... this is my room," Lex said awkwardly.  "Um, need an extra blanket?"

Layla giggled. "I don't think so. Sorry. I was just curious what it looked like in here..." She walked over and sat at the foot of his bed. "Is there a side you want me to be on?"

"Um, whichever you want.  I'll take the side you're not on," Lex shrugged.

Layla smiled and chose the right side of the bed. She liked the idea of falling asleep cuddled up in Lex's arms.

Lex sort of plopped himself onto the left side and squirmed around until he was comfortable.  Once situated, he wrapped his arms around Layla and pulled her close.  "Okay?" he asked softly.

Layla smiled and snuggled into him. "Mm hm." She told Lex. She felt happy, and once more felt that safe feeling she got when wrapped in Lex's arms.

"Good," he said bluntly and snuggled in as he quickly dropped off to sleep.  If Layla moved, he would wake, but not much else would wake him.

Layla fell asleep pretty readily too, and was comfortable enough she stayed with him all night. 

Shortly after Lex, Layla, and the younger boys went to bed, Ashton came home and took a shower before heading to bed himself.

The next morning, True had breakfast ready before even Shuni got up and started waking up his little brothers, coaxing them awake one by one.  Shuni went straight to Paul's room and crawled into his bed, snuggling into him.

Lex woke and lay watching Layla.

Paul smiled and hugged Shuni as he woke. "Shuni?" He yawned. "I had an awesome dream. Miss Geena was going to be our mom, and we all were going to live here and be happy!"

Layla was still asleep, cuddled in Lex's arms. Her wavy blond hair looked disorderly and even more curly with it not being brushed, but she looked happy and peaceful there.

Shuni grinned and nuzzled Paul's cheek.  "Guess what, Paul?  I had the same dream!"

Lex watched her sleep, content.  He reached up and gently stroked her cheek.

Paul giggled happily and sat up, stretching. "Do you think it was really a dream?"

Layla's skin was smooth and soft to the touch. She stirred slightly at Lex's stroking, but didn't wake quite yet.

Shuni considered.  "If we both had it, maybe not.  In my dream, Sam was there, too.  We should ask him!"  He rolled out of bed and stretched.

Lex continued to stroke, content to leave it at that.

"Yeah!" Paul agreed and scampered over to Sam's room. "Sam! Sam!" He called as his brother slowly woke.

Layla slept for a few more minutes before she stretched a little and smiled at Lex. "Morning." She said softly.

Shuni followed hot on Paul's heels, clambering into Sam's bed.  "Sam!  What did you deam last night?"

Lex smiled faintly.  "Morning."

"Uh, what do you mean?" Sam asked as he woke, yawning. "What'd you guys' dream?"

Layla watched him a moment before lightly brushing her lips against his, a hand on Lex's cheek.

"We dreamed Daddy asked Miss Geena to be our Mommy!" Shuni said happily.

Lex smiled at her.  "Now it's a Good morning."

Sam laughed. "No, I think that actually happened, and wasn't a dream."
Paul cheered happily at that, and promised to make another nice picture for "Mommy."

Layla laughed happily. "Well then, if that's all it takes, want a kissing lesson?" She offered. "Might make it an even better morning." Layla tempted.

Shuni cheered, bouncing on the bed.
True stuck his head in the door.  "Hey!  Your pancakes, sausages, and eggs are getting cold!"
"Sorry," Shuni giggled, scrambling down and racing for the kitchen.

Lex debated, making certain the door was closed.  "Alright, wise teacher.  What are you going to teach me this time?"

Sam and Paul scrambled to get to the table, Paul chirping a thank you to True for the meal.

Layla smiled. "All right, just try to mimic what I am doing, just based on feel." She instructed before kissing Lex again, gradually kissing him deeper once he got the hang of each "level." It was basically how Layla learned; through mimicry until she felt comfortable enough at it to experiment and find what worked and what didn't.

True laughed at the three and told them you're welcome.  "Hey, Shuni?  Sam?  After we walk Paul to school, I'm going to need everyone's help to clean the house for when Dad and Geena get home."

Lex pulled back a little with each new level, but once he'd gotten comfortable with it, he relaxed into the kiss.  He wasn't comfortable going too deep or far, but he enjoyed this lesson immensely.

Sam nodded. "All right. What all do you want us to clean?"

Layla made sure she didn't make Lex too uncomfortable, reading his body language and responding accordingly. After a while, she felt they reached the edge of Lex's comfort zone and stopped there, although she gladly kept kissing him. Lex had indeed picking it up quickly.

True smirked at him.  "Everything.  We'll divide the house up by rooms so we all have a fair share to clean.  It doesn't have to be a deep scrubbing, but it has to look good.  You finish up here, don't worry about the dishes.  I can wash them along with the rest of the kitchen."  He rolled to the foot of the stairs and called up, "Ashton!  Lex!  Layla!  Can you come down, please?"

Sam nodded. Sounded fair enough.

Layla pulled back a bit when she heard True. "Should we see what he wants?" She asked Lex in a whisper. She would have rathered stay up here with Lex a while longer, but she wanted Lex to voice his opinions as well. He was as much part of their relationship as she was.

Ashton stretched and yawned. He hadn't slept well, but that was fairly normal. He wasn't sure how Shuni managed to get him to sleep so restfully, but he wasn't about to ask his brother and involve him in something that'd only make Shu worry more.

Lex hesitated then gave a nod.  "He'll just keep calling and nagging if we don't."  He kissed her one last time, savoring the taste of her lips.  Slowly and reluctantly he slid out of bed and padded to the stairs, glancing back at Layla as he walked.

Night yawned and stretched from his position draped across Ashton's neck.  It was warm and soft there!

"Oi!  Come on, guys!" True yelled from down below.  "Don't make me come up there!"
