DT Serum, Primary Testing In Progress

Kat watched True go and blushed. Had he really...? She went to her apartment and closed the door as the scene played over and over in her head. She smiled and let out a little giggle. He really did! Kat hadn't felt this happy in quite a while. She took a shower and went to bed, smiling.

True let himself into the house and quietly went to his room.  He didn't know what to think, everything about Kat buzzing in his mind, so he tried not to.  He shoved it aside and focused on the task on the computer.  By the time morning had come, True'd passed out, his head on his arm next to the laptop.  The laptop had put itself to sleep to save energy, heedless of the young man's snoring.

Gaster woke early and saw True had passed out at the computer and let him be. He quietly got himself a cup of coffee and started to make pancakes and bacon for breakfast.

For once, not even the smell of pancakes was enough to wake True as he continued to sleep soundly.  He'd been awake until almost 4 in the morning, there was no way he was waking up for just food.

Gaster and the boys let him sleep. When they went to work and school respectively, Gaster left a plate of breakfast in the fridge for True along with a note whenever he woke up.

True woke with a stiff back, kink in his neck, and a dry mouth.  He groaned, rubbing the back of his neck, and went to see if anyone was home.  He looked around, finding the note and breakfast.  It had been a while since he'd eaten alone, and he found himself missing his chatterbox brothers.
Finished with breakfast, he took a long, hot shower, loving the accessibility.  So much easier!  This time, he took forever because it was awesome.  He hadn't had a genuine accessible shower or bath in forever!  Cleaned up and dressed, he headed for the Lab.  
Pausing by the receptionist, he gave her a grin.  "Morning, Fiona."

(Fiona cool?  I don't think she's ever been given a name.)

Fiona smiled. "Good morning! Dr. Gaster is downstairs. He and Dr. Ally should be in the lab for a while longer before breaking for lunch." She said kindly. She has seen this young man enough to know he and Dr. Gaster were close.

"Thanks."  True glanced around.  "I need to print some documents.  Do you happen to have a printer I can use?  I can supply the paper if it's a problem, but I'm out of change for the library printers."

Fiona nodded and told True how to get to the break room where he could print off what he needed, and asked if he wanted her to go back with him to make sure he knew how to use that printer.

"Um, yes, please?" True asked.  "Sorry if I'm taking you away from your work.  It should only take a second, right?"

Fiona smiled. "It's no trouble at all." She lead True back, and showed him how to use the printer with a smile. "...And just give me a hollar if you wind up needing anything." She told him before she wen back to the front desk.

"Thanks, Fiona!  You are an angel!" True called after her as he got started.  It took him a couple moments, but he got what he needed printed and slipped carefully in a manilla envelope.  Finished, he put everything back and went to find Sam and Gaster.

Gaster had just collected Sam. They were about to go out for a lunch break. Sam waved and cheerily told True hi. "Ah, you're awake!" Gaster said with a smile. "Would you like to come with us to lunch? Sam is picking this time."

"Sure!  Where we going, Sam?" True grinned.

Sam grinned. "There's a deli nearby. I love their turkey, mustard, and swiss sandwich. They literally make it all there at the deli, except the bread, and even then it's from the bakery across the street."

"Seriously?  That sounds amazing!" True grinned.  "Why haven't I known about this place before?"

"It's a small deli in a quieter part of town." Sam said. He smiled and whispered to True. "Dad told me once it was there he met mom, and later where he asked her to marry him. He likes it there too because it brings back good memories."

(*debates on whether or not to have Gaster meet new lady there...*)

True smiled.  "That is a good reason to go," he agreed.  "Show us the way?"  He hoped Sam would go ahead of them just enough so he could talk to Gaster without Sam overhearing.

Sam nodded and walked ahead of them. Gaster fell in step beside True. "How was Kat last night?" He asked his son.

(Nah, we'll have that be Gaster's special place with his first)

"She was okay, but appreciate the walk."  True glanced up at him.  "We spotted Shuni.  He was hiding in an alley with his cats.  He didn't look so good, Dad, and even less trusting than before."

Gaster frowned hearing that. "We should try and reach out to him. I imagine out of all of us, Paul would have the easiest time regaining his trust. You kind of can't help but trust and love that little guy." Gaster said with a soft smile.

"No, you really can't, not even after what he did," True sighed, shaking his head.  "Are we settled in enough to bring him in?"

Gaster nodded. "I believe so. All we would need is some furniture and clothes for him." He scratched his chin and looked True over. "My boy, on the subject of clothes, do you own a suit? Every self respecting man should have a good one, even if they hardly wear it. It also seems well to the ladies if you can clean up nicely."

True missed a beat wheeling.  If he walked, he'd have stumbled.  "A what?  Suit?  Clean up for the ladies?" he stammered, sounding a lot like Ally.  "What ladies would I be cleaning up for?"

Gaster smiled. "I don't know, but it is a good thing to just have on hand. Sam and Paul even have suits for special occasions, should they arise." He had an idea of at least one lady that had caught his son's eye, but respected if True didn't want to talk about it.
