Kat was stretching and figuring out what she wanted to wear, having already helped True into his chair.

Paul was sprawled out on his bed, sleeping soundly.

"Wear the long yellow dress," True suggested.  "It's warm, and I love the color on you.  You look like sunshine."

Shuni crawled into bed with Bitty Kitty and Paul and snuggled up, hugging Paul.

Kat smiled. "All right." She picked out the dress and a matching jacket for it. "Should I pull my hair back too or no?"

Paul, still sleeping, cuddled into Shuni like the little snuggle bug he was.

"Hmm..."  True considered.  "Just like a clip or something to keep it out of your eyes."

"Paul, time to wake up, Paul," Shuni urged gently.  "We need up and school"

Kat nodded and pulled out a hair tie. "I will pull back just the hair that would fall in my face then. I don't think I have a clip."

Paul continued to snore softly and peacefully.

"That will be very pretty," True grinned.  He rolled out of his room and called, "Sam!  Paul!  Shuni!  Time to get up!"

Shuni shook Paul gently.  "Up time, Paul!"

Kat smiled and finished getting ready, heading to the bathroom to do such.

Sam yawned and woke, petting Lynx before he got dressed.

Paul now blinked and slowly woke. "Morning already?" He asked sleepily.

"Morning, Layla!" True greeted cheerfully.  "How are you?  This breakfast looks amazing."

"Morning already," Shuni agreed.

Layla smiled. "i am all right. How are you this morning?" She asked pleasantly. "There should be enough pancakes for everyone, but I can always make more if not."

Paul stretched and slowly got up, yawning. He sleepily made his way to the breakfast table.

"This looks perfect, thank you," True smiled then turned toward Paul as he came down.  "Hey, sleepyhead. Ready for school?"

Layla nodded graciously. "Your welcome."
Paul yawned and smiled. "No. I need breakfast first, True."

True ruffled his hair.  "I meant other than that," he chuckled.

Paul giggled. "I think so. All my school stuff is in my bag." He ate his pancakes happily.

"Good.  Munch up!"  True turned to Sam.  "I think you should probably hang here today, Sam, instead of the lab.  Sorry."

Sam nodded. "All right. I can pick up my room then today." he said compliantly as he ate. 
"True?" Layla asked. "May Shuni come with me to the lab? He wants to see Ashton."

True hesitated then nodded.  "Okay, but you have to listen to Layla and Dad, okay?"
"Okay!" Shuni crowed happily.  "I promise!  Thank you, True!  Thank you, Layla!"
True laughed and hugged him.  "Okay, okay, eat up, kids!  We have to go soon."

Paul finished breakfast and scurried off to get ready. 
Layla collected the dishes and washed them quickly, setting them out to dry before gathering the last couple of things for Lex, which admittedly was now a basket and a backpack to fit everything she wanted to bring.

"That's some care package," True said in amusement.  "How are you going to carry that all the way to school then the lab?"

"I'm stronger than I look, True." Layla said with a stubborn smile. "And it's not all heavy; just more so bulky."

True shrugged. "Okay, then.  I gotta go scrub my teeth, and by then we should all be ready to go."  He headed to the bathroom, soon returning.  "Okay, everyone!  Let's go!"

Everyone gathered by the door. Kat tried vainly to get Paul's wild black hair to lie flat on his head, but the hair just wanted to spike out every which direction, and his bouncing didn't exactly help Kat.
Layla made sure she had her bags, and put on a hat that indeed matched her outfit quite well, and let her hair down now that she was no longer cooking.
Sam smiled some, glad his brothers seemed happy enough.

True scooped Paul into his lap.  "Alright, everyone, let's go!"  He rolled out, keeping an eye on all the cats, kittens, and kids following him.

Layla and Kat chatted some as they walked. The girls seem to have become friends, and enjoyed each other's company.

True stopped beneath their usual tree and hugged Paul.  "Be good today, okay?  I'll pick you up from school this afternoon."

"Okay!" Paul said cheerily as he hugged True back. "Have fun today!" He said before he ran off and joined Ariel at the school doors.
Layla smiled. "Cute kid."
